Captain Brian Bradley
Captain Brian Bradley is one of the UK's most experienced Boeing 737 Type Rating Examiners and Training Captains, with over 34 years of airline experience and 15,000 flying hours — more than 10,000 of which are on the B737.
Brian began his airline career in 1990 and has held senior training and checking roles with major UK and European carriers throughout his career. He has been a registered aviation consultant since 1992 and established BradAir to provide independent, high-quality training and consultancy to airlines, ATOs and individual commercial pilots.
He holds UK CAA and EASA Type Rating Examiner (TRE) and Type Rating Instructor (TRI) authorisations on the B737, and is authorised as a Senior Examiner to conduct TRE revalidations and renewals. He is also an EASA-authorised EAOC Examiner for TRE Standards Courses, and has served as an Acting Flight Operations Inspector conducting simulator evaluations on behalf of the CAA and EASA.
In 2014 Brian was certified as an Aviation Expert Witness, adding legal and regulatory consultancy to BradAir's portfolio of services. He is the creator of CommandPrep.Com, BradAir's unique command preparation programme for First Officers preparing for command upgrade.

Our Training Philosophy
Our focus is to maximise the positive training value of every course we are involved in, resulting in safer, more effective and efficient pilots, instructors and examiners. We believe that great training is not just about passing a check — it is about building genuine competence, confidence and resilience that lasts throughout a pilot's career.
Bespoke
Every course is tailored to the individual or organisation. We do not deliver one-size-fits-all training.
Standards-Led
All training is conducted to the highest UK CAA and EASA regulatory standards, with no shortcuts.
Experience-Driven
34 years of airline experience informs every briefing, every debrief and every training decision we make.
Outcome-Focused
We measure success by the competence and confidence of the pilots we train — not just the pass rate.
